Getting Involved

Links with Locally-based Christian Organisations

A number of members of St Peter's are involved in the following local organisations: both personally and in financial/prayer support.

HotS Wycombe

HotS (Healing on the Streets) Wycombe offers - from churches across the town -  a weekly ministry of healing prayer to shoppers/passers-by outside Lloyds Bank (near the Eden Centre) every Saturday from 1.30pm-3.30pm.  Please contact if you would like to participate on site or to pray from home.

Started in Great Missenden in 1987, Lighthouse is a Christian holiday club, run by volunteers from local churches, which now operates at a number of different sites in the area during the first week of the summer holidays.  The days include worship, teaching, games, the performing arts and craft, based on a theme.  Go to for more details.

One Can Trust

The One Can Foodbank was set up to help people deemed by health professionals to be in "crisis" and in need of emergency food supplies on a short-term basis.  For further information go to

Street Angels

For nearly five years now, a bunch of volunteers from local churches have helped provide a safe and enjoyable place for people out in High Wycombe town centre on Friday nights.  We carry free sweets and free flipflops (and Bibles, of course) amongst other things and can be found around the High Street and Frogmoor outside the pubs and clubs between midnight and about 4am.
